The location was perfect – we were literally the only game in town, and the nearby izakaya was a great spot to grab a bite. But the beds were super uncomfortable and we were charged for everything from coffee to sugar sticks. It felt like they were nickel-and-diming us at every turn.

The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was a highlight, but the fire alarm malfunctioning for a couple of hours was really frustrating. It went off multiple times and was hard to ignore.

The owner was incredibly nice and took great care of us, and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. It felt like we were in a little slice of heaven.

The room was pretty bare – no kettle, no toothbrush, the works. It felt like they were trying to cut costs, but it was a bit of a letdown.
