Located near Interstate 75, the Magnuson Hotel Marietta is a 5-minute drive from Southern Polytechnic State University. This hotel offers a daily continental breakfast and rooms with complimentary WiFi. Each room features a cable TV, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The hotel is within a 15-minute drive of Cumberland Mall and Fox Creek Golf Course, and 4.8 km from Dobbins Air Force Base.

The location was close to my job, but I spotted a roach.

My stay had its ups and downs - I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk, particularly when I needed to find ice. However, I was put off by the moldy curtains in the neighboring room, which made me uneasy before I even entered my own space. To make matters worse, the hotel's confirmation email contained an incorrect address, which led us to a nearby apartment complex instead of the hotel.

I enjoyed the spacious room and comfortable bed, which made for a relaxing stay. On the downside, I noticed a musty smell in the air, which was a bit of a letdown.

The friendly staff were a highlight of my stay, but unfortunately, the hotel's location in a rough neighborhood was a major drawback. Additionally, my room could have been cleaner, with nail polish splatters on the bathroom door being a noticeable oversight. I was also surprised that there wasn't a security lock on the door, which would have been a top priority given the surrounding area.
