The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of homemade dishes; the room was spacious, the courtyard was quiet with trees, and the owner was super friendly, always looking for ways to help and improve, responding promptly to every request.

I’m from Kazakhstan, and this place is gorgeous; the room was spotless, the hosts are wonderful and very hospitable, and the breakfast was delicious. Anyone who comes here won’t regret it.

The room was impeccably clean—bathroom, fridge, everything spotless, 100 % clean. The cozy atmosphere and the courtyard with a persimmon tree are lovely. You can step out of the room right away and enjoy a delicious, varied breakfast and a cup of tea on the terrace. It’s perfect for escaping the bustle. The hosts, Shekhriz and his lovely wife, were always ready to give tips and chat pleasantly. We ate more at breakfast than we would at home, plenty was served. At the end they gave us costumes and took photos, which was a unique way to feel part of the local culture and vibe. The national clothing was very pretty. Everything was great.

The house sits right at the start of the tourist trail, so I walked there, it was very quiet, and I slept well. In the middle of the courtyard there’s a beautiful garden. The water pressure is the best in all of Uzbekistan. The host, Shahnaza, makes tasty breakfasts every day, something new each time! In the evenings we spent hours in the garden with the hosts, chatting over tea with the best homemade fig jam. This is the family home of the host, Sheraz, who happily shares the house’s and family’s history. The house has two rooms that preserve the historic spirit, almost like a museum. I was given a photo session in the national wedding dresses that the host keeps carefully. If you want to stay with such wonderful people, you should come to Samarkand. I miss our evening talks a lot. There’s nothing that could be better.

We stayed here with a friend and really appreciated the family’s warm hospitality. We had great conversations about Uzbek culture, traditions, and everyday life, which made our stay feel personal and authentic. Breakfast was generous and tasty, especially the homemade omelette and the sweet grapes from the family’s garden. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is nicely away from the busy city center, so it’s quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to reach the main sights easily. Highly recommended – a lovely place to experience genuine Uzbek hospitality. The only downside was there was no kettle in the room, but the hosts made it easy to get hot water.
