I went back for the third time with my wife and we were both pleased, especially when we headed to the rooftop at 01.30 and had no issues; free wifi, solid amenities, and courteous staff made it smooth, though we wished for shower gel instead of soap—Rangamati gave us a 25 ml mini bar, so we expected that and two pieces for us.

There was no fire box or lighter for smoking on the rooftop, which was a let‑down, and overall the rooftop and restaurant left a lot to be desired.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s proximity to the airport plus a free drop‑off made it convenient, but the room only had two power sockets, none by the bed, so charging my phone overnight was hard; at the restaurant the waiters seemed inexperienced, as I had to prompt them for a menu after taking my seat and again when I was ready to order, struggling to convey my food choices.

The restaurant service was very poor, taking more than an hour to serve food, which left me unhappy; staff training is clearly needed.
