The staff were exceptionally clean and helpful, the sweet breakfast was high‑quality with a wide selection, and the location was right in the centre yet still surrounded by quiet, relaxing nature.

The room was clean and the hotel was a short walk from Lake Gover and the village centre.

Great breakfast and staff super nice- comfy and clean, with lovely decorated rooms. The restaurant downstairs is excellent, best dinner of the trip. Rooms were too warm and we found it hard to regulate the temperature at night- the only way to make it colder was to open the windows which didn't feel ideal in February
