Being extremely central to all the must‑visit spots in Barcelona was a plus, the common areas were spotless and nicely decorated, the free water refill was very accommodating, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very basic for the high price, the toilet and sink were too close together (though not a huge problem), and the bed was basically rock hard, making it extremely uncomfortable and frustrating for the cost, especially since a hotel should provide good sleep; we woke up several times during the night because of the bed. The rooms could have been decorated a bit more or had a chair in the corner to feel less bare bones.

The location was very good, but the room was old, especially the bathroom/WC, and the bed and pillows were never comfortable. Even though I had requested cleanliness and quiet during booking, I was given a dirty, old room and the room opposite the elevator.
