“Fabulous place , would definitely stay again”

Everything was superb! The room was fabulous and sumptuous, the breakfasts were huge, and the hosts were lovely. I got loads of useful information, too.

“The landlord was strange, wanted us to go off Booking.com and pay her privately.”

The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable, but the landlord insisted we pay her personal bank account. She got very angry when we refused, insisting it was safer. She had many rules in her BNB that felt strange. My review isn’t about where the money ends up; I understand guests pay accommodation providers for their stay. Guests should never feel pressured to move payment away from the platform they booked through, especially if the reason is to avoid platform or card fees. That reduces the protections and transparency that booking through a recognised platform is meant to give. The number of instructions on arrival seemed unusual compared with other places I’ve stayed, and that fact contributed to my overall impression.

“Quality, thoughtful, super comfortable!”

Perfect location for exploring the beautiful mountains, and the room was impeccably designed with great attention to detail and quality. The breakfast box was a nice touch and everything was really yummy! It worked perfectly for us.
