The place itself had a lot of issues: the toilet flush didn’t work, the sink tap was broken, and there was no proper lock on the room. The beds were small and room service was awful. I also booked a safari through the same person who owns the hotel. He charged $200 per person for the safari, but didn’t pay the park entry fees and let us enter illegally. The next day, when we were leaving the city, the police stopped us for safari tickets, and he had none. That’s when I realized what had happened. I was very dissatisfied with his hospitality and the overall stay. Don’t stay here, and if you must, never book a safari through him. You’ll need valid tickets to exit the Maasai Mara area.

“The accommodation is fine - but dinner was not worth the price”

The location was good, the cottage was fine, and the remaining staff were friendly. We were excited for a unique stay with Paul, a local Maasai host, but it fell short. The biggest letdown was dinner: for an extra $15 per person we got a small portion of dry, overcooked goat, soft potatoes, and a few vegetables. Paul took most of the food before we finished, leaving little for the rest of us who were paying. He spent most of the dinner at our table on his phone, talking mainly about money, which felt a bit transactional and uncomfortable.

“LULUKA ,US AND MASAIMARA”

We stayed in the room, the staff behaved well, the food was delicious, and the host Mr. Paul welcomed us as if we were staying at our own home. I recommend everyone to stay here and book a Masai Mara game drive with him; he knows every part of the forest. We saw all five big animals at Masai Mara under his guidance. Nothing negative—everything was too good.

“I would suggestivo it, good place for the value”

The breakfast was good and the setting in the middle of typical Masai houses was nice, but the experience felt very eccentric.

The camp sits perfectly in the heart of beautiful Sekenani village, close to the Narok highway and the Sekenani entry gate to Masai Mara National Park; Paul, the owner, is kind‑hearted and the whole staff treated us like family. We had dietary restrictions and were given full access to their kitchen to prepare our own food. Paul is an excellent guide, with great expertise in game driving and animal tracking, knowing exactly where to take the driver for the best spotting.
