The room was clean and the heater did its job. The “contactless” check‑in was a) not mentioned anywhere and if we’d known we might have booked elsewhere, and b) it was a mess. We got no heads‑up that day, rang the front desk several times during business hours with no answer, and only got the room number and keycode by email at 7 pm, probably after we’d called enough to make them realize they’d forgotten to send it. A few minor issues aside from the check‑in, the shower was dangerously slick, the heating system rattled constantly with certain vent settings, and the bed had a flat sheet tucked under the mattress that slipped out as soon as the top blanket was removed.

The room we stayed in was gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfy, we had everything we needed, and the location was great.

The contactless entry was great, but it was a pity we never met the folks who run it. Street noise—mostly trucks—was a nuisance, but that’s not the motel’s fault.
