“Fijne, rustig gelegen B&B met prachtig uitzicht en heerlijk zwembad”

We found this B&B surprisingly enjoyable, with a lovely garden and a very peaceful pool that offers a stunning view of the lake from both the rooms and the balcony. Nelly and Corrado are extremely friendly and do everything they can to make you feel at home. Breakfast is served either in their kitchen or on the balcony and is tasty, featuring various cheeses and meats, homemade croissants, fruit, yogurt, cereals, and more. The room has two large windows and can be cooled on warm days with a fan, plus a small fridge. The B&B has two rooms, and you share a large living room and balcony, which isn’t entirely clear in the description. It’s on the third (top) floor of the building and there’s an elevator. The B&B is in a quiet spot between two busy villages; you can walk a few minutes down to the lake where the pebble beach is almost empty (bring water shoes). It’s a short walk to Torri del Benaco (15 minutes). Within 5 minutes we ate delicious and affordable food at Da Mirella: lakefront, tasty local dishes, and much better and more personal service than in the centre of Torri. No negatives.

“Excelent stay, highly recommended!”

An amazing place with spectacular views and wonderful hosts! The driveway up to the property is a bit difficult, but that’s not a problem.

Unfortunately not recommended – far too little privacy for the price. We were very disappointed with our stay. The offering did not feel like a hotel but more like two guest rooms with a bathroom inside the owners’ private apartment. The owners’ apartment is only separated from the guest rooms by a kitchen door, and the kitchen itself is off limits to guests. If you value privacy and quiet, you should think carefully about whether this accommodation is right for you. We were lucky to book both rooms because we travelled with two children. If we had booked only one room, we would have had to share the living room and balcony with the owners and possibly other guests, which would not have been a restful vacation for us. We found the handling of our personal belongings especially uncomfortable. Towels and swimwear were taken from the room without prior agreement, hung somewhere to dry, and only returned to the bed the next day. That was a clear boundary violation for us. Some of our private items were also moved or rearranged on their own. The rooms were regularly entered by the owners, so we often felt monitored and observed. Additionally, the room had to be vacated by 10 am each morning to allow cleaning, which we could not always manage during our holiday. This constantly created a sense of time pressure. The air conditioning was also a major issue: it could only be turned on after 7 pm, was regulated by the owners, was extremely loud, and still did not provide comfortable temperatures. After the very hot days, some nights were almost unbearable. Overall, the equipment is noticeably outdated.

“Highly recommended - true B&B experience”

Staying with Nelly and Corrado felt like coming home to beloved family or grandparents. They made sure we found our way at the planned time and gave us a warm welcome. Nelly’s breakfast is a treat! We had both available rooms and also enjoyed the facilities with a living room, sea‑view balcony, and swimming pool. Just a short walk from charming Torri del Benaco – perfect for a morning or afternoon walk along the Lungolago. We were so pleased with our stay that it made us sad to leave.

“Un endroit féerique et des hôtes merveilleux!”

Wow!! Everything is perfect! The location, breakfasts, room, balconies with spectacular lake views, a small beach 5 minutes on foot, the mountains, sunsets, and storms (a sound and light show!), the pool, olive trees, flowering laurels, and tranquility! May the villa Carlotta get a makeover! A huge thank you to our hosts Corrado and Nelly who are adorable, welcoming, warm, and very kind! We’re just wonderfully happy there! Happiness has a name: BandB My lake! Highly recommended!! No negatives at all.
