I was delighted by the peaceful atmosphere and the warm welcome from Phumzile, who was incredibly helpful. The stay was simply wonderful, with no complaints at all.

I paid the regular rate even though breakfast wasn’t offered. There was no water in the room for showering, and I wasn’t told about this issue or offered any solution. The roof fan was extremely loud, and turning it off made the heat unbearable; opening the windows let in mosquitoes that drained me.

The restaurant served tasty food, but we never received cutlery for our takeaway. The room lacked an air conditioner, so it was cold and uncomfortable.

Breakfast was not included in the price, unlike most lodges that bundle it in their packages. It should have been provided.
