The spot was one-of-a-kind, and the farmhouse itself feels lovingly decorated with a lot of charm. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, and I definitely took them up on their offer for a special dinner – an authentic Italian meal right on the farm is unbeatable. The two nearby restaurants are also worth a visit. On the downside, the beds lacked slatted bases and were just mattresses on wooden boards, which gives that old-school Italian retro feel but sacrifices comfort. The room’s air conditioning was also very weak compared to the local temperatures.
