The staff, from the concierge to the reception, were extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay, and the housekeeping deserves special mention: the room was always spotless, with freshly made sheets and clean towels every day. The hotel’s location was excellent, just a few steps from the beaches, which made the stay very convenient. The room that was assigned had some issues: it seemed to have originally been a single room converted into a double with a king‑size bed, so the space was quite tight and the bed was positioned too close to the walls on three sides, making it difficult to move freely (to reach one side of the bed you had to step over the person on the other side). The breakfast also fell a little short of expectations in terms of variety.

We received good service at the hotel. However, the hotel was poorly signposted with its name. The “Hotiday” sign was not visible outside the hotel. The parking lot was also poorly marked, and we weren’t told how hard it would be to access it. Perhaps there could have been information about the area around the hotel and what activities are available nearby. One could also have been given information about restrictions for traveling to nearby cities, for example that it is not possible to drive into Portofino due to limited parking there, and that trains to Pisa get full quickly.

The room was not suitable for two people, a situation I have never seen since I started booking with Booking.

“Hotel de 4 estrellas pero puede ser la habitacion de una Pension de 1 estrella ( ni eso ) una pena”

The breakfast was just right and the location was good, and the staff were appropriate for the establishment. The double room we paid for was so small that the bed almost reached the wall, leaving only a 15 cm gap to get into the bed. The room was extremely uncomfortable. We complained but no one offered a solution. We tried to understand the situation by asking for a compensation, for example a parking discount of 50,00 € for two days. We told them the room was very small, that we had paid for two nights in a double, and that it was extremely uncomfortable. We took photos that we still have in case Booking needs them. We asked for at least a free parking as compensation for the discomfort and the lack of formality in giving us that room.
