The location and history were great, we received an upgrade to suite 1111 and it was lovely—almost clean except for five long grey hairs attached to my suitcase. My only real issue was the water flow: the shower works on full cold, but any heat and it stops. This is hard to fix.

Overall, the hotel was absolutely lovely, with live music that we enjoyed while sipping drinks in the bar at the end of the evening, and the breakfast was lovely and self‑serve; there was nothing to criticize.
