“Amazing place!”

I was warned about a construction next to the ecolodge that could make getting there hard because there's no pavement, but I chose to stay anyway and it turned out to be the best choice. We were the only guests, which made the experience feel very special, and the receptionist was super helpful and even gave us a discount. The staff are awesome and the place is breathtaking, so I would definitely recommend booking here. The construction might bother some people, but honestly it isn’t a big deal and I don’t think it’s worth rebooking elsewhere.

“Luogo incantevole, buonissima colazione e ottimo staff”

The place was perfect, but we happened to arrive during a time when there was a construction site right in front of it. If we had come at another time of year, it would have been a 10+ experience. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and we were pampered despite the difficulties.

“A great and unique experience!”

I had booked this place mainly for 2 reasons: - Located outside the overcrowded tourist hotspot of Tam Coc and situated in a quiet, green corner (still only 4 mins away from the boat departure of Trang An)( - Offered a motorbike/scooter rental directly from them (no third companies/platforms inbetween). What I got was much more: From arrival till departure, I was surrounded by a lovely, super friendly staff that did everything to make me feel comfortable. Yes, they informed me a few days before arrival that there would be a governmental construction site next to their homestay and offered me a discount. To be honest: yes, you could see and sometimes hear some work, but it is nothing compared to everyday life in Hanoi ;) Renting the scooter directly from them was super convenient; with no need of going to a separate rental company, you also avoid the risk of being scammed (you’re their guest after all). Very recommendable option for 200.000 VND per day (with a possible discount for longer periods). Breakfast was included in my room price; lunch and dinner were possible, with prices not higher than in average localrestaurants. I had dinner and enjoyed it. All in all, a great and outstanding experience I would once love to repeat!. Nothing negative to be stated!

This review is for Ninh Binh Rustic Hideaway, a sister property of Trang An Ecolodge. We didn’t stay at Trang An because they texted us the day before our arrival to say there were last‑minute government building works, sent us pictures and videos, and we decided it would be too noisy. Ninh Binh Rustic Hideaway was perfect: the staff were absolutely amazing, smiley, friendly, and did everything they could. The location was beautiful and quiet just outside Tam Coc, not within walking distance of anything, which added to its peacefulness. The room was stunning and the pool was perfect. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit this stunning area again.
