Hôtel Le Mouton Bleu

We ate breakfast, used the spa and pool, and the room was very pretty. On the flip side, the reception was snarky and the cleanliness left something to be desired, especially the sheets which felt low‑quality. We stayed last year at a comparable hotel and clearly preferred that one over Hôtel des Moutons. The staff seemed to judge us. Two nights cost 700 € plus 800 € in fees because parking is included; breakfast is 30 € and there are additional establishment charges.

“Lovely small hotel with character, excellent facilities. Very friendly helpful staff.”

The hotel was really nice, full of character and the staff were helpful. The rooms were large, each with a patio, tables and chairs. The pool was lovely and the lake views were great. Parking was available at the hotel and the restaurant nearby was excellent. The only downside, and I’m being picky, is that there could be more drawer space for clothes.

The pool, the view and the cleanliness were all great. Parking was not assigned even though it was paid for. There was no mini‑fridge in the room. The room design felt a bit too sparse, lacking warmth.

“Enjoyable stay but attention needed to rectify small annoying issues”

The location is very good with amazing views and a small private garden on the lake. The path to the main entrance is very dark at night and full of potholes; a path light and better signage are urgently needed. The cups in the rooms lack handles, and the water bottle was never refilled. There are no ordinary tea or coffee sachets in the rooms. English TV channels are not available as advertised, and most of the time there is no TV signal at all. The sauna was not working during our stay.
