I really appreciated the family‑like treatment, the staff’s helpful information and accessibility. The place feels like home, with a usable kitchen and fresh eggs from their own chickens. It’s a colonial farmhouse surrounded by a beautiful garden with a vegetable plot and farm animals. Everything is in harmony and respectful of the environment, with an eco‑pool and barbecue, well‑situated in a quiet area but a stroll from the center of Ponta Delgada, a place I’ll return to on this wonderful island.

“Guesthouse surévaluée !”

Room 6 is spacious but very noisy, facing the highway and the airport! Impossible to sleep with the window open and no air conditioning. The shared bathroom isn’t cleaned for three days, the bins overflow during the week, so all of that is pretty mediocre!

The place is great for anyone who loves cats and frogponds, with four cats wandering freely around the grounds. It’s pretty calm overall, though a bit noisy because it sits right next to the main road.
