The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy, but when we brought wine bottles from a nearby vineyard to drink in the hotel, we found no mugs or glasses in either of the two rooms, so we had to drink straight from the bottle 😅.

The hotel is wonderful in a very picturesque setting, with a beautiful, well‑maintained garden, a good pool, and a calm, pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and you can sense that it’s a family business with a lot of soul. The homemade Georgian cuisine is also fantastic—dishes are well prepared, fresh, and delicious. Everything we liked, but the breakfasts could be improved: adding fresh‑pressed juices or at least higher‑quality juices, a good freshly brewed coffee, and making them available to everyone would make the breakfast much nicer and more in line with the hotel’s overall level. Otherwise, everything was great. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel.

The highlight of my trip to Georgia was this place. Avtandil and his family exemplify Georgian hospitality—warm, generous, and truly kind. From the moment I arrived I felt like family. The food is delicious, home‑cooked, and the wine is honestly the best I’ve had in the whole country. They’re also a wonderfully musical family, and their singing made the evenings special—an authentic experience you can’t plan for. If you want to experience the real heart of Kakheti and its people, stay here. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

This place is a dream! We simply loved staying here. What started as 1 night ended up almost a week. 3,5 weeks in Georgia, and this was by far the best! Great staff (owner Avtandil happened to have a great musical taste!) stunning views on the great mountains and vineyards, a great wine tasting experience with manager David, clean rooms (everything brand new), refreshing pool for the summer days and an amazing restaurant (both dinner and breakfast, you won’t regret ordering the kachapuri and the grilled trout). Go here!.
