The location is brilliant – I sat in the beer garden, soaking up the calm and vibe of the area, and I’d tell everyone to book here because it’s the best.

“Great accomodation and lovely pub”

The old pub near Hardnott serves fantastic pub grub for walkers and casual visitors, and the staff are very good and friendly, though the bathroom had a couple of minor niggles that needed maintenance.

“Cosy warming Inn wkth great atmosphere and excellent staff and service!”

The Woolpack Inn is a very cosy warming Inn with exceptional staff and a great atmosphere. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this lovely property. Everything was great!

The super lovely staff! Everyone was so kind and welcoming- and I mean everyone! From Myles who welcomed me on arrival in the car park (off out with his gorgeous dog Archie), and Zoe who showed me to my room, to the lads in the kitchen and everyone else who I came across (including Nelly the adorable pub dog) What a dream team! Lovely new bathroom in my room- amazing shower plus, and a really comfy bed. Delicious breakfast and wood fired Pizza. Can't wait to stay again!. No net curtains or blind so I couldn't open the heavy curtains until I was up and dressed (my room was on the ground floor)
