The location was perfect, everything was very clean and well equipped, and the host was easy to talk to.

We had a day of protests in town, the street where the accommodation is located was blocked, we couldn’t drive in, and had to park far away and walk to the place just to shower. Entry to the B&B is by phone; you call a number they give and the gate opens automatically, but people outside the building tried to get in with us, even forcing the door open after it had closed, which was scary. It happened twice. You had to call again to open the next gate, and when we did, a drunk man outside tried again to force his way in. We didn’t feel safe from the first contact. The building was dark. When we entered the room the sofa had a moldy smell. We decided to book another place that night in Bologna, this time near the airport, away from the center.
