The staff were kind, the place is close to CAT beach, and the balcony with hammocks is cozy, but the shower is too weak and needs replacement.

The service was super friendly, with plenty of tips. The staff were very helpful and gave good tour recommendations. Breakfast was on time and everything was well organized. Because it’s a very hot place, the air conditioning was only available at specific times, which slightly disrupted the experience.

I stayed during the Sairé period and the venue is close to the event square. The hostel is organized, clean, has curtains, a plug and lamp next to the beds, a good breakfast, lovely cats, and helpful hosts. I met amazing people during my stay. Loved it, would definitely return, and I’m proud to be a Lavister. It’s a bit far from the town square (about 10 minutes walking), which isn’t a big deal during the day, but at night it feels a bit deserted, even though the place is considered safe.
