“If you want an intensely busy place to stay that is loud well into the night, this place is for you”
The shower is functional and roomy, and the room’s air conditioning works well. It’s a clean, functional place to stay, but it’s extremely loud. I had read reviews that promised peace and quiet, but San Sebastián is packed with tourists, late‑night bars, and park benches around the hotel where people gather and get loud well into the night. I could hear parties and arguments outside my room until 2 am most nights, and on two occasions at 3 am and 5 am. I had to work while staying here, which is why I asked for a quiet room, but I was given one on the side facing the main street. Be aware you might end up in a very noisy room in the middle of a bustling area; even if your room isn’t on the main street, I don’t see this place being rated as quiet.
