Modern, clean rooms, well‑equipped kitchen, lovely courtyard with a swing where we felt great, a grove to pick fresh apples and blackberries, and the hosts were very elegant and generous, even bringing us a basket of various items for breakfast. The kitchen and living area are shared, so if you book only a room you might run into other guests you may not get along with. The mattresses aren’t the most comfortable, and the street‑side room picks up neighbor noise early in the evening, though it calms after 11 pm. My suggestion is to rent the whole house to enjoy all the facilities in peace.

If we ever come back to the area, we’ll definitely stay at Pensiunea Oacheș. The place is impeccably clean, and the design is done with a lot of good taste. The traditional courtyard is perfect for time spent in nature, and the kitchen is incredibly well equipped (honestly, if you wanted to make a sophisticated soufflé from scratch, you had everything you needed). The hosts impressed us with their hospitality, always asking if we were comfortable and if we needed anything. Pro tip: when you enter the kitchen, on the right, there’s a very good plum brandy from the house. I’d miss it. A 10‑point experience, we’ll see each other next time!

“Very good value for money”

I loved how close the hotel is to Retezat NP, and the facilities were clean and comfy. The only downside was that my ground‑floor room faced the street, so I had to keep curtains and windows shut all day, making it a bit stuffy and hot.

“Un loc pentru relaxare.”

We really enjoyed the house and courtyard at Pensiunea Oacheș; everything was comfortable, and the house itself was charming and fully functional. There were no inconveniences related to the Oacheș house.
