“The most incredible cabin stay”

The spot is amazing—right in the dark sky reserve, so the night sky view is incredible. The outdoor bath is huge and the cabin is super well equipped, literally every detail is covered. We spent a honeymoon night here and it was perfect. Nothing to complain about!

“A Home & A Way”

I had this place on my bucket list after watching Bryce Langston on YouTube, and it lived up to the hype. It’s an award‑winning house and one of the best I stayed in during my three weeks in NZ. The exterior and interior feel carefully designed, and the owner keeps everything in top shape. A welcome platter and bottle of wine were a sweet surprise. The outdoor tub is great. Thanks to Liz and Garry for hosting us. I wish I had stayed longer.

“Highly recommended.”

Skylark was exactly what we imagined—clean, well appointed, and fully stocked for our three‑night stay. A welcome platter and bottle of wine arrived on arrival, which was lovely. The outdoor bath was a highlight, letting us soak under the amazing night sky. Liz and Gary were quick to answer any questions we had.

The views and location are fantastic, and the outside tub is a treat. The spread of nibbles and a nice bottle of wine were great. At night there were noises that sounded like a mouse, keeping us awake. I even saw a mouse trap in the bathroom, so I’m not sure if that’s a recurring issue.

Everything was there—seriously everything. The cabin is well organized with a variety of activities and food options. It’s a bit isolated, which feels a little scary at night if you’re from a developing country, but the view was spectacular.
