The place was spotless and looked freshly renovated. Beds were comfy, and the host was very friendly, leaving us free coffee, water, and snacks. The only downside was that our room had a shower only in the spa tub, which was in the bedroom next to the TV, making it hard to wash my hair without a drain outside the tub. A dedicated bathroom shower would be better.

The accommodation was great, and I could park close by on the street below the building. The entrance to the property was unwelcoming and dirty, with puddles of water—really disappointing. The spa jets spit out dirty water, which is not ideal!

The property was very kind and accommodating even to special requests. The structure was beautiful and clean, and it was fairly close to the center, reachable on foot. The only flaw was that there was no bidet.

The apartment was small but ample for two people, very clean with modern fittings. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette functional with a kettle and coffee machine, and the bathroom was also very clean and modern. Free parking is available nearby, though finding a spot can be tough. There’s an African restaurant next door, another around the corner, a shop on the corner, and a more upscale restaurant on the opposite corner. Lidl is about a 5‑minute walk away and there’s another large supermarket next to it. The historic centre, shops and restaurants are roughly a 15‑minute walk away. However, the air‑conditioning unit doesn’t work well (we set it to 17 °C on full blast and it barely kept the room cool). The shower is oddly angled, so we rolled up the second bath mat in front of the entrance to stop water leaking out. There can be a gurgling sound from the sink when others are using it, especially in the early hours. The area is undergoing a lot of regeneration work, so in a year or two it will look very different and nice. A lovely park is expected to appear opposite when finished, provided it stays clean. Unfortunately, some rubbish on the streets makes the area look dirty, though all tourist areas remain clean.
