AC Hotel by Marriott Downtown Los Angeles

Absolutely terrible experience – one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. The service we received was absolutely horrible. The staff yelled at us and treated us with no respect or professionalism whatsoever. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely unwelcome. The room was extremely dirty and covered in dust. The condition of the room was unacceptable and did not match what we expected from the pictures . The photos are very misleading and do not represent what the hotel actually looks like. We were also told that the hotel had facilities such as a swimming pool, but the reality was completely different from what was advertised. Overall, this was one of the most disgusting and disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. The service, cleanliness, and overall condition were completely unacceptable. The spot was perfect, though I had to pay for parking which was steep – up to $50 a night or every time I drove the van out.

The views were great and the metro was close by. The staff didn’t explain the $18 room allowance properly and then blamed us for not understanding, even though it was explained incorrectly. They weren’t friendly, were quite slow because the lines were long, but somehow rushed when it came to us.

“Great hotel and service!”

The location was great and the room was clean, but having the lobby on the 34th floor was a bit tiring, though not a big deal.
