The carpet on the stairwell was dirty and needed vacuuming; the floor inside the room was also dirty and damaged, missing wooden planks. The curtains were peeling off the rails, the wardrobe was dirty inside, and the bathroom shower cubicle had mould and black hair in the tray, clearly not clean from the previous guest. The closest restaurants, pubs, and shops were far away.
