The air‑conditioning was broken, and the host didn't show up until 5:30 pm even though check‑in was at 3:00 pm.

The location was fine, but the stay was a nightmare. When I arrived at Athos Bulcão, there was no record of my reservation and the manager was unresponsive for over an hour. I ended up leaving for another hotel, only to be convinced to return, where the reception staff treated me poorly. I finally got an apartment after almost three hours, but after an hour they asked me to switch rooms again, and the new place was filthy—dirty floor, fridge, bathroom, and linens.
