The hotel sits conveniently on Hwy 1 before the cactus desert, and the internet worked well. My dad and his son arranged a breakfast with coffee and fruit just for us. However, there was no hot water for showers, the pool was dirty, and overall the place felt a bit grimy and rundown.

The rooms were nice, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The price was also great, and it was located right off the highway, making it easy to find. The door had no lock, so there was no key; instead, a pole was provided to keep the sliding glass door from opening once inside. The bathroom had a leaking toilet and water pooled in the shower. We were told it might have a problem when we were shown the room and given access to the next‑door room, but we shouldn’t have tried it because it got even worse than expected.

The location was good. There was no restaurant and practically no staff.

The ad claimed it faced the sea, which isn’t true. It also said breakfast was included, which isn’t true either. No hot water was available.
