The staff were friendly, and we were lucky to get an upgrade; otherwise we’d have been stuck in a basement without a window 😳. The bathroom was dirty and a bit far from the city centre.

The photos didn’t match the actual room—it was much smaller. Everything was dirty; we had to ask for fresh sheets because it was disgusting to stay there. The sheets and mattresses had yellow stains. The bathroom was damp, and the shower leaked water. They know this and even leave a mop so you can clean the water that runs into the room while showering. The young staff were very attentive, but that good service can’t erase the disgust we experienced sleeping there. In short, it was the worst part of our trip.

Having a curtain on the lower bed made me feel more comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, lacked a countertop, so I had to put my stuff on the toilet, which was very unpleasant; there were no hooks to hang bags, which would have helped.

It was good value, but the cleanliness and service need improvement. I couldn’t recharge my phone and no one was available to replace a fuse.
