“If you have a problem, well, it’s YOUR problem!”
The furniture is decent, bed comfortable, the water is hot, shower drains ok, breakfast is tasty. Could’ve been a fair stay for its price if not for the human factor. Upon checking in I told the receptionist that my room stinks of acidic cleaning chemical and I cannot stay inside, it will cause me an allergy. She was sick with cold and due to her runny nose she couldn’t smell anything. I left the window wide open hoping the smell would go away but it didn’t. In the morning I reiterated to the night shift receptionist that the stench is unbearable, it was impossible to breathe inside the room. He replied that “they will fix it”. Who they? Apparently day shift. He reluctantly after three requests moved his body away from the desk and smelled the room. Confirmed that the day shift would handle it after breakfast and seemingly sent a text message to the manager. Assured me that the problem would be solved. NOBODY ever bothered to solve this problem. Imaginary manager never came and receptionist with blocked nose said no other rooms available. Even though they had empty rooms and SOLD THEM but since they were less claustrophobic than mine these stingy people decided that I don’t deserve it. I spent 2 days on the windowsill with my head sticking out from the window grasping for fresh air
