I was pleasantly surprised by the complete change of scenery in this old stone barn made of volcanic rock. The rooms were truly spacious and gorgeous, featuring a stunning floor, a vintage bathtub perched like a star on a large dais, beautiful furnishings, and tasteful décor in many details. The pool tucked among pebbles, the greenery, and the lounge chairs under the pergola invite relaxation. Marina’s charming welcome, her delicious and attentive cuisine (even for vegetarians), and the hearty, tasty breakfast all enhance an already fantastic experience. Everything is done with heart. The value for money is excellent. Kudos, thank you, and best wishes Marina! We’ll come back! There were no flaws at all. Everything was very good.

The hotel is a lovely, intimate place. The room was beautiful. The pool was nice, giving a chance to unwind completely. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty. Don’t expect to be able to eat at the restaurant when you arrive in the evening; the owner cooks wonderfully, but you have to request it beforehand. I was slightly disappointed upon arrival after a long walk, but a great bakery nearby solved that issue.

The restoration and reinvention of a local heritage site, the tranquility of the place, and Marina’s exceptional hospitality—she’s always attuned to guests’ needs, serving tasty meals and breakfast—were all highlights. The arrival time felt a bit late compared to other accommodations.
