The place was spacious and historic, with a nice bath in the tower.

The spot was great, the host lovely, and the traditional house had large rooms and a comfy bed. A shower curtain over the freestanding tub would help stop water from splashing onto the floor, and the breakfast was pretty basic.

The old villa was original and very charming, but the breakfast price seemed high for what was offered.

The décor lived up to the name; if you’re after modern style you’ll be disappointed, but if you appreciate a beautiful, old French interior you’ll be very happy. The host was very helpful and friendly, and she was quick to find a solution when I was biking around.
