I stayed in Pod 5 and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The bedroom and kitchen had a strong bad odor, the room was freezing cold, and the heater wasn’t working properly. The blankets also smelled unpleasant and didn’t look clean. I would not recommend this place; the cleanliness and maintenance need major improvement.

The spot is great for heading north from Wellington, and the animals plus playground are a hit with kids, but the pods feel a bit cramped and the walk to the amenities is quite long.
