The hotel and rooms have a pleasant setup, the spot is good for the Wartburg, and there are free parking spots in front of the hotel. However, the room and bathroom cleaning was poor, a thorough clean only happened after we asked, the beds weren’t made, the booked breakfast was cancelled for the first two days, and the only contact was the emergency number—no staff were present on site during those first two days.

The hosts were very friendly, the breakfast was good, and it’s close to the sights, but even though the heating was on, the room was uncomfortably warm.

Breakfast was decent and the location was satisfactory, but our room had no view; we could only see parked cars and it felt like we were in a basement even though we were on the first floor. On the departure day we didn’t get breakfast, it was cancelled by SMS, and we felt very abandoned.
