The location was great. The bed and pillow were very uncomfortable.

The spot was fantastic, surrounded by good cafés and restaurants, easy walking to anywhere in Amsterdam and close to tram stops, so I felt like a local and loved the canal view. The host was very communicative. However, the room and bathroom were dusty and not clean, the bathroom mirror only worked for someone taller than 6ft, the bed was small and collapsed in the middle, and neither the Wi‑Fi nor the TV worked—though we reported it, nothing was fixed during our stay.

The spot was ideal for a four‑day stay. Beautiful canal location and close to a tram.

The location was great. The stairs feel a little risky, and the black décor makes the apartment hotter—probably better in winter.
“Brilliant location, great accommodation plus contributing to help others is a fantastic formula.”
The location is brilliant—only 250 m to a supermarket and a 20‑25 minute walk to museums. Julian answered all questions super fast, and the canal view was lovely. I also appreciate that the owner uses their money for social impact and capacity‑enhancement projects to help others. The only caveat is that the stairs are very thin if you’re staying in the Netherlands!
