The place is right by the beach, but it could use some renovations and upgrades.

The cleaning was spotless and the ladies who did the housekeeping were great, but the reception staff were so arrogant, insulting, and unhelpful—no smiles, as if they were working reluctantly. I judged the hotel very poorly from that awful reception alone.

“Despite these concerns, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning.”

The location was beautiful, peaceful, and close to the beach, but other condo residents often used the pool, which is supposedly for guests only. I had several power outages during my stay and the emergency numbers on the door didn’t work, leaving me without a clear way to get help in an emergency. The resort’s restaurant served good food that was a bit pricey, yet it seemed short‑staffed; the server was often chatting with someone else and not attentive, which hurt the dining experience. I still enjoyed my stay overall—the resort was affordable, quiet, and close to the beach. Still, the limited service hours, frequent power cuts, and lack of reliable emergency support could be improved. Adding vending machines with water and snacks in Buildings A and B would help since there’s no 24‑hour service.

“The reception and restaurant staff were great!”

I love coming back to St. Croix and staying at The Palms; the staff are always friendly and helpful, and I plan to return again soon. The only downside was the 40‑minute wait for breakfast.
