“Mi experiencie cusqueña”
The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes’ walk from the historic center. The cold in Cusco was a downside.
“Pessimo soggiorno”
The breakfast room had a nice view, but the stay itself was awful. The hotel was cold, damp and had no heating, even though it was winter and outside was 4 °C. We were there for three days and only managed one shower because the water was icy. The bathroom had mold and the window glass was missing, so it didn’t block the chill from outside, and the windows were practically non‑existent. We couldn’t pay by card and were forced to pay in cash without a receipt. The room was moderately clean but nothing special. One morning we left early and they didn’t give us breakfast, even though they served it to other guests that same morning, which we noticed as we were leaving. In the evening, because the room was very cold, there was a small heater in the common area; I went there but they turned it off and opened the windows, forcing me to leave. Light in the room was practically nonexistent.
“Great location, friendly staff, comfortable facilities, and stunning views of Cusco!”
We really enjoyed our stay at Qolqampata. The location was excellent, within walking distance of Plaza de Armas, making it very convenient for exploring Cusco. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist us with questions about tours or any other matters. The breakfast was good, and one of the highlights of our stay was definitely the amazing view. We had a beautiful view of Cusco from our room as well as from the shared balcony. We also appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the accommodation. There were chairs and small refrigerators available for shared use in the hallways, which was a really nice touch. The shower was also very good, with reliable hot water. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and honestly do not have any negative remarks
I liked that there was hot water, clean and warm sheets. I would have preferred a heater in the room and more accessible electric wall connectors; there was one 6 ft high and another that was not readily accessible.
The people were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the view of Cusco was not to be missed.
