The location and staff—front desk and maids—were very nice and helpful, but the hotel interior needs a facelift: hallway carpets are worn and room interiors need sprucing up. The ice machine is far below standard—this 4‑floor hotel with 100+ rooms in a humid South climate should have a large ice machine per floor, yet there was only one small one in the lobby store to serve all guests, and it was always empty when I needed ice on both days. The front desk lady said management had many guests complaining about the poor ice machine and lack of enough machines. Also, there was no free breakfast like competitors offer, so I won’t stay at this brand again if a competitor provides free breakfast.

Great atmosphere. The toilet sits low.

The staff was great, the room was clean. The towels were stiff and poor quality. The hotel lobby, halls, room floors and furniture were very worn. Floors and furniture looked overused and dirty. Some carpet areas were worn through.
