They accepted a free cancellation because of the poor conditions, so I’d only recommend it if you read the description carefully and are okay with living in those conditions. The location is inaccessible without a car. We were attended by a girl who didn’t speak any languages, and there was no one else in the entire property except that minor. It was extremely dirty, with two cats and five dogs roaming all common areas and even our private room. A friend was allergic and we had to leave.
The spot is right by the blue sea, just steps from a small restaurant and local shops, and the people are friendly—super 👍 I’d recommend it like a small family, truly great. I’m afraid of dogs, yet the host approached me and I ended the stay petting them 🤣
“Plan your visit immediately and add at least one more night to your expected stay 😉”
A lovely host guided us like a local and even taught us how to make our own tagine! The room was comfy and had access to a cute outdoor kitchen with all essentials. The place is secluded, so we practically had the whole beach to ourselves in mid‑September, yet Asilah was close enough for sightseeing, shopping, or a night out, and basic shops were within walking distance. CATS AND DOGS everywhere.
I was close to the beach, but the animals nearby left a noticeable odor.
“A true haven of peace - for real travelers only”
I booked four nights but ended up staying ten; it’s a heavenly, quiet, rustic, authentic place, super clean and cozy. If you want a special oceanfront spot, this is your home. Bonus: Didi is an amazing soul—her energy and dedication made the trip unforgettable 🙏 I’ll return! Not for tourists.
