Position – the best. Breakfast – great. The room in the Manor House had no air‑con, was too hot and very uncomfortable, and was expensive compared to everywhere else despite the beautiful accommodation and air‑conditioning; these rooms should only be booked in winter.

Good breakfast with a good range of options! I had to change rooms because the first one was badly cleaned, smelled of smoke from the fireplace, had a dirty bathroom, a shower drain that was blocked and flooded the floor, and there was no apology or consideration.

Wonderful location. Exceptionally helpful staff. The restaurant and breakfast area don’t quite match the rest of the look and feel – a bit more casual than expected, only a tiny point. It could attract more guests if it looked a bit more fancy.
