The street was quiet, the room spacious, and the downstairs café tasty. I can’t understand how the hotel got such a high rating – the location isn’t very central, the street is quiet but not central, the beds were really uncomfortable, there’s no laundry machine in the room even though other branches of this chain have it, and housekeeping only started from the 4th day.

The hotel was nicely furnished and the view from the 8th floor was great. The room was large enough to fit four people with luggage, one per person. The windows couldn’t be opened, so ventilation had to come through the door, a common issue in many Japanese hotels, not just this one.
