“Overall, I loved my stay and didn’t want to leave!”

I really liked staying at House of Leisure in Nuwara Eliya: the spot had gorgeous hill views and a calm vibe, and it was easy to reach the town centre and nearby sights. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, tasty, and satisfying, and the staff were friendly. The welcoming atmosphere and lovely views made the stay feel relaxed and enjoyable, so I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. The only downside was that I had to leave; I wished I could have stayed longer because the peaceful setting, delicious breakfast, and friendly vibe made it hard to say goodbye.

The room was comfortable for a one‑night stop in the town, fairly clean, though the furnishings felt a bit dated and there was a noticeable damp smell. A small heater in the room is essential for the night.

The staff were welcoming, the breakfast well‑stocked, the bed comfy, everything was very clean, and it’s close to the lake and only 15‑20 minutes on foot from the town.

It was a fantastic stay: the owner was very helpful, the staff friendly, the food excellent, the place beautiful and very safe for a solo traveler, and the view was breathtaking—wow!

“Calm and quiet place to stay in Nuwara Eliya, best view for Nature lovers and worth the money”

The manager and owner were friendly and chatty, gave us everything we asked for on time, suggested places to visit, and arranged transport. The place is very calm and quiet, and there’s nothing much to complain about.
