Everything was great, it was in a good place and only 10‑15 minutes from the things we wanted to do! The junkies were everywhere.

I was skeptical at first, but the police patrols every hour around the area made me feel very safe; I stayed for a quick work trip, my room was clean and fully equipped, and the staff were very accommodating and sweet; I was supposed to check in at 3 pm but arrived at 2:30 pm and they let me in early; I would definitely stay here again, everything was great.

The hotel is close to everything, but they never sent me the receipt.

I didn’t like anything; I didn’t even stay at the hotel, the reservation process was lousy, and I blame Booking because they don’t tell you which hotels put an extra hold on your card; when I got there the place looked very sketchy, the location is horrible, I felt uncomfortable looking around outside, there were solicitors standing around trash blowing in the parking lot; I went in and the staff member who took the reservation said I didn’t have a reservation, there is a sign on the wall that states they do not take prepaid cards or cash out cards, I think that is something that should be noted because people like myself or driving far away when we just want to get to the hotel and relax; I’m coming from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I will never go there again once a year we stopped in North Carolina to church after church we had to Myrtle so I did not know where I was staying at; however when I got there it looked very sketchy plus with everything going on with the $50 hold plus the fee and not taking prepaid cards I asked the staff member to please cancel my reservation I had to end up driving somewhere else not good at all shame on you Super 8 and shame on you Booking.

“Okay for a short day as long as you have your wits about you after dark!!!”

The property was okay, the rooms were much better on the inside than the appearance from the outside; while the location was good, the area was awful… at night there was a nightclub about 20 yards away, full of the worst type of people… there were prostitutes, drug zombies and dealers all hanging around the entrance of the hotel at night and in the parking lot; my wife was frightened to walk from the car to the hotel; even in the morning there were these people hanging around the entrance of the hotel…
