Hotel Zeedijk City Centre

The accommodation was conveniently close to the station, which I liked, and although the room was smaller than expected it was still comfortable enough. The downside is the typical narrow, steep Dutch staircases, especially the very steep stairs on the first floor, and the lack of an elevator makes heavy luggage a real hassle; the fridge is wall‑mounted and tiny.

The new building is great, the location is superb, and there’s no noise.

The location and cleanliness are fine. There’s no reception, no elevator, and the staircase is very narrow and steep, which is prohibitive for anyone over 50. The windows don’t open, so the room doesn’t ventilate.

The location is good, the place is very clean, and the quality is decent.

“Fairly comfortable, although room is small especially maneuvering round the bed on the window side.”

The location and modern style are good. In the shower, water pooled around my feet and didn’t drain, spilling over the door; the next person had to wait at least 20 minutes for the water to clear. The drain needs a thorough cleaning.
