A beautiful structure. The location is ideal between the city centre and the bus terminal. The staff is friendly, though the owner is a bit less so. The welcome from the owner, the variety of breakfast, and the lack of an elevator were issues for me.

The place was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly, and it offered great value; the only downside was that the shower water was barely warm.

The breakfasts were excellent, and after staying at several hotels in Ecuador, I can say this one had the best quality‑price ratio; the staff were very kind and helped with everything I needed; I loved having a balcony in my room; when it got late and the restaurants were closed (they shut down around 18:30), I always ate at the hotel’s restaurant, which had very good quality; it’s so centrally located that I didn’t need a taxi to go anywhere I wanted to visit.
