Sleep Inn & Suites Metairie - New Orleans West

The location was good, but the staff accused me of stealing something I hadn’t taken.

“If I could write this in a short summed up sentence is that this place is hobo and would be better off not existing. I p”

I honestly didn’t like anything about the property. The elevator had duct tape on the panels and looked like it was falling apart; cigarette smoke filled the hallway even though it’s a no‑smoking area; staff entered my room while I was sleeping early in the morning, two hours before check‑out; the showerhead fell off, the tub was rusty, everything had stains, and the room was barely swept. On top of that, there was no fire alarm in my room, only exposed electrical wires and a phone to the front desk that didn’t work. The photos on the website didn’t match the actual stay.

Nothing was good. The entire property smelled like weed, the room wasn’t cleaned properly, I found a knife in the shower and someone’s vape, and the TV volume wouldn’t lower, blasting all the time.

It was close to the game, but breakfast ran out quickly and was slow to restock.

“Bathroom digusting”

The bed was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was disgusting. The toilet seat was half‑brown, broken, and wrapped in plastic. The walls around the tub were cracked, the tub was worn out, and overall it was filthy. The fire alarm in the room seemed incomplete and broken, as did the water sprinkler, and there were holes in the wall with stains all over the carpet.
