The location on the main road of Arugam Bay is basically good – the street has many good restaurants. From our point of view the rating does not match reality. It is a very simple, clean but aging accommodation without any comfort. The rooms have courtyard or sea views, but over roofs and other unkept courtyards. The bathrooms are extremely basic, the way to the beach goes over the main road and then a beach entrance … Overall we would have appreciated more honesty in the description, then we could have avoided mutual frustration. We moved after one night.
