“A great night very restful”
The bed was amazing, but I liked having coffee in the room and they only offered it in the lobby.

I’ve stayed here many times and was usually happy, but this last visit was one of the worst I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the room was poorly cleaned, the furniture was worn and shabby, crumbs lay on the floor beside the bed, the bathroom blinds were dusty, and the shower didn’t drain, forcing us to stand in ankle‑deep water. At 11 pm a beeping or whirring sound started and cycled on and off all night, making sleep impossible; we initially thought it was outside but it was clearly in the room, probably from the HVAC. When we asked to change rooms, the staff said there was nothing they could do, and the front desk was rude and unpleasant. We ended up leaving and booking elsewhere. The Deluxe concierge promised we wouldn’t be charged for the remaining two nights, but the booking platform didn’t refund and blamed the hotel. The whole ordeal was costly and utterly disappointing. I loved this hotel before, but I’ll never stay here again. The room conditions, the staff’s refusal to help, and the rude service were a disgrace to hospitality.

I was disappointed by the filthy carpet and a hole in the headboard of the bed. They promised us a different room, but it never arrived. They claimed they were fully booked and short on staff, and the management was unreachable. The response from Booking was let‑down; they said the accommodation didn’t reply to their messages. In the end we got a voucher for 15 % of the booking value and an email telling us the accommodation didn’t respond, with the hotel’s phone number below for us to try and sort it out ourselves.

The location was lovely, parking was close, and the decor and comforts were wonderful. At checkout a young woman helped us carry our luggage down the stairs to the exit. However, the lobby had steep interior steps, and the sign said “ring for assistance” but the doorbell had been removed. When I asked at the check‑in counter for luggage help, they said there was an elevator at the base of the stairs, which was false: you have to go through a service door to the basement, descend steep concrete steps to the laundry area, and then reach the elevator.

The location is great and parking is available for 24 hours, so you can leave your car past check‑out time. The only downside is that the building is older and the bathrooms need an upgrade.
