The street was quiet and less crowded, the room was small but cleverly laid out so it felt spacious with a big bed. On the third floor we had to haul our luggage ourselves because there was no bell‑hop, the soundproofing was poor with the air‑conditioner humming loudly, breakfast offered little variety and was disappointing, and the price was more like a city‑center rate despite not being centrally located.

The lobby felt welcoming, yet when I opened my door it was pitch dark, I couldn't find a light switch, there was no key hook, and the lamp was tucked near the bed; after a while I had to use my phone's flash to see, so I left immediately.
